Happy 15th birthday to The Dungeons

There were creepy celebrations in Blackpool town centre as The Blackpool Tower Dungeon marked its 15th birthday, with crowds gathering to witness a suitably sinister opening ceremony led by some of the attraction's most notorious residents.
Fan favourites the Black Jester, Judge, Plague Doctor and Torturer, officially opened the day's festivities and brought a taste of Lancashire's darkest history to the town centre.
Since opening its doors in 2011, The Blackpool Tower Dungeon has entertained thousands of guests with its unique blend of live actor performances, immersive storytelling and special effects. For the past 15 years, visitors have been transported through Lancashire's murky past, encountering notorious characters, chilling tales and jump scares along the way.
Jamie Humphrey, Performance Manager at The Blackpool Tower Dungeon, said: "We're incredibly proud to be celebrating 15 years of The Blackpool Tower Dungeon. Over the years, we've welcomed thousands of guests bringing history to life in a way that's immersive, entertaining and a little bit terrifying.
