Showzam – a festival of circus, magic and new variety is a new event for Blackpool targeting the February half-term holidays, traditionally a quiet time for the town.

It builds on the town’s history and heritage in entertaining people, celebrated during the festival in Showtown, an exhibition of archive posters from high-profile international artists that have appeared in Blackpool, and its world-class links in the areas of circus, magic and variety. 

Over the 2 weeks of the festival, a number of high-profile events will be programmed that deliver some of the world’s best performers amongst a host of free street events and entertainment.
